GWAV is a movement dedicated to reclaiming the power and potential of the New American Majority, “get woke and vote” is our electoral call to action.

Get Woke & Civically Engaged

We believe in sustaining commitment to activism for the long-run, not just during election years.

Through civic engagement 101 community workshops, we provide space to learn and become further educated on how each branch of government functions, how to be a dynamic organizer, and why it is critical we engage in our communities.

By educating and empowering members of our community with the knowledge and support they need, we hope to continue providing access to empower our historically underserved populations to recognize their civic power as new-found activists in Arizona.

We sought to provide assistance and alleviate the challenges our BIPOC communities faced during this public health crisis.
